OS AQUA Final Event at University of Cyprus
We are excited to invite you to the closing event of OS AQUA Research Project. During the event, we will present key findings for the establishment of new aquaculture units in Cyprus. These include potential locations, species, cage technologies, automatization technologies, and financial returns.

About the OS AQUA Project:
OS Aqua is a national strategic project that will enable the development of an Open Sea Aquacultural Industry in Cyprus. The development of Open Sea Aquaculture will be highly beneficial to Cyprus due to its potential to significantly increase food production while minimizing its impact on the natural environment. OS Aqua will define maritime zones, design facilities, automatization, and monitoring systems, and conduct a financial sustainability study. OS Aqua will have socioeconomic benefits to Cyprus by contributing to the increase in food exports, attracting investments, opening new work positions, and ensuring social acceptance and environmental sustainability.
